Kim Jong’s secret visit to China

  North Korea’s Kim Jung Un has been confirmed to have visited China in a secretive meeting with Xi Jinping. Speculation on the visit was sparked when a heavily guarded train arrived in China from North Korea. The Hermit Kingdoms leader took the unusual step out of his Kingdom most likely with the aim of reaffirming its relationship with China. China warns Taiwan over closer ties to U.S.

  China reaffirmed its threats to Taiwan from December where they were observed constructing replicas of key Taiwanese government buildings for special forces training. Taiwanese media has reported an increase in the amount of military air exercises testing Taiwan’s defence infrastructure. China has continued its aggressive policy towards Taiwan and regards it as a rebellious province to be reclaimed by military force if necessary. This aggressive stance has lead to continued deterioration of relations between Taiwan and China.
