-A manhunt started by the German government against Jaber al-Bakr two days ago because he was suspected to be an ‘IS linked’ bomber and preparing for an attack very soon. He is now under arrest by the German police department.
-According to the German police depart, a detonator, explosives and a kilo of chemicals were found in the Chemnitz flat. Al-Bakr’s apartment was described as “a virtual bomb-making lab”, and carried out a controlled explosion,implicating he is an experienced bomb maker and well prepared to launch a bomb attack anytime soon.
-Jaber al-Bakr was a refugee under asylum and came to Germany in 2015.
