Energy Incident Response
We focus on four niche areas which are: Intelligence Training (in particular we specialise in training fusion centre analysts), Counter kidnapping Teams (Hostage and Barricaded Person Response), Naval Special Purpose Units and Border Security Response Teams, Energy Security and Specialist Energy Response teams.
We are the ONLY company that delivers tactical and alternative weaponry energy incident response team training to military and police units. In particular, we specialise in offshore asset (platforms and rig) response
Energy Security Training
We train military, police and special units in energy security response. Standard response techniques and protocols do not apply in energy-rich environments. Inappropriate equipment and insufficient energy related knowledge for tactical decision making is a common problem among police, airborne and maritime units responding to an energy related incident. Chemical knowledge, correct kit and equipment appropriate to an incident that has or could result in chemical or gaseous leakage, appropriate operating procedures and weaponry are all major considerations for response to an incident at an energy port facility, an offshore platform and onshore installations.
Basic skills such as correct techniques and team formations for effective delivery aboard offshore platforms is another area of specialisation. Your unit may have had this training in the past but retraining and honing of skills, procedures and action drills is critical for success. The rapid response unit with responsibility for national emergency tactical response must be versed in skills, drills and substance awareness for safe and effective resolution of energy related incidents.
All training delivered includes operational planning as a core subject. The courses below require candidates to have achieved SF selection criteria and peak fitness is expected. Hard skills are drilled until perfect in all conditions. Candidates successfully pass out the program when they have achieved expected levels of performance in varying conditions and in both day and night operations. Full written assessments of each candidate is supplied to unit commanders on completion.
