-A car bomb attack in Van, Turkey caused 11 death and at least 27 wounded.
-The explosion took place near the Van Governor’s Office and the provincial headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the Beşyol region.
-PKK was suspected to be involved in the planning the attack.
The bombing happened on the first day of the Islam’s holy Eid al-Adha, implicating this attack was regionally related. PKK’s involvement was suspected also, and the explosion was very near to Van Governor’s office, which can lead to the possibility of this is a conflict between the Turkish government and the freedom fighters.
